We offer many preventative care services for our pediatric patients from cleanings, to appropriate x-rays to fluoride. Fluoride is essential to strengthen children’s teeth and help prevent tooth decay. In addition to periodic examinations, we are happy to give you an orthodontic consult as well.

A dental sealant is a plastic coating bonded into a tooth that smooths rough edges, depressions or grooves. This creates a protective coating and helps prevent tooth decay. Typically sealants are placed on back permanent teeth in the adolescent years.

Cavities can be a part of life, especially as kids are learning the importance of oral home care. We use composite dental fillings for tooth decay and broken teeth. This is a tooth-colored, resin material that is hardened in the tooth with a special blue light.
